OverviewThe Digital Product Owner plays a pivotal role in our ag ile development process by fostering collaboration and communication between various key roles. This includes Product Managers, Business Owners, Technical Leads, and the collective Scrum Team. Your primary responsibility is to define and drive the product vision, ensuring alignment with business goals while delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
As part of the Digital Products team, you will work alongside curious, self-driven critical thinkers who have an entrepreneurial mindset to create lasting value for our clients an d our o rganization on a global scale. Our team works smart by advancing data-lead experiences, embracing iterative product design and actively collaborating across the organization.
How you'll make an impact- Understand and prioritize client needs and competitive offerings to win and retain business, leveraging insights from sales, operations, and other stakeholders.
- Document product lifecycle and write requirements within the agile delivery framework.
- Align product vision, strategy, governance, and roadmap with input from Product Manager, business leads, stakeholders, and delivery partners.
- Engage and manage feedback loops to gather and test feedback on product design fro m clients and stakeholders through advisory groups.
- Plan and prioritize product development, introduction, and lifecycle management, ensuring financial performance and collaboration with product manager and functional teams.
- Collaborate with development and data teams to assess feasibility, ROI, timing, and approach for new features or enhancements.
- Lead product benchmarking and gap analysis in coordination with marketing, global practices, and global products.
- Bachelor's degree with relative industry experience
- 5+ years of progressive roles in Product Ownership or similar in agile software development
- 3+ years of within the insurance or financial industry preferred
- Strong understanding of user experience best practices and design acumen
- Proficient with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or similar
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a desire to work for a fast-paced, large organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to maintain product documentation Commitment to quality and excellent customer service to end users
