Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Lead UX Designer to join their team. As a Lead UX Designer, you will be part of the Upstream division supporting a dynamic team of UX designers and researchers. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lead UX Designer

Location: Spring, TX 100% onsite

Pay Range: Competitive market rate and depends upon experience

Duration: starts at 12 month contract

What's the Job?

  • Lead a small team (2-3) of UX designers and researchers, managing work intake and communicating timelines.

  • Design innovative solutions that enhance user productivity and simplify complex tasks.

  • Incorporate research findings into design processes and communicate designs through sketches and prototypes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and user-centric solutions.

  • Educate and advocate for proper design principles and processes within the organization.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience leading UX design projects from concept to completion.

  • Ability to mentor and develop junior designers in a collaborative environment.

  • Experience working closely with diverse cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and eagerness to learn.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving skills.
