SAP Developer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an SAP Developer to work onsite 3 days a week in Columbus or Merillville for a large utitlies customer of ours.

Design, develop, and implement SAP applications and solutions.

Customize SAP modules to meet organizational needs.

Perform system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP applications.

Ensure the integrity and security of SAP systems.

Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends.

Assist in the design, development, and implementation of solutions.

Create unit, integration, and automated acceptance tests.

Make design decisions based on technology patterns and standards.

Develop readable, maintainable, testable, and performant products.

Ensure system health through monitoring, logging, and metrics gathering.

Develop and implement solutions to enhance functionality and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.

Participate in code/configuration reviews and ensure quality standards.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues, providing support and maintenance.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Skills and Requirements

8-10 Years of SAP Devlopment experience

SAP BASIS: Basic understanding of SAP system administration.

SAP HR: Basic knowledge of SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) modules.

SAP Security: Basic understanding of SAP security concepts.

SAP Functional: Basic familiarity with SAP MM/QM, PM modules.

SAP Financial: Basic knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules.

In-depth knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SAP ABAP, SAP HANA, SAP Fiori).

Strong programming skills (e.g., ABAP, Java, Python).

Experience with SAP integration technologies (IDoc, BAPI, RFC).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, and Agile methodologies. SAP certification(s) in relevant modules.

Utlities experience

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. null
