Network Engineer

A prominent technical consulting firm in Annapolis, MD is seeking a skilled Network Engineer II/III to provide advanced technical support, implement scalable IT systems, and ensure seamless network operations for their clients. This role involves tackling complex network challenges, serving as a trusted technical advisor, and driving IT project success.

This is an onsite role in Annapolis, MD. Candidates must live within an hour drive of Annapolis to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced troubleshooting, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
• Onsite and remote resolution of complex network issues.
• Serving as a primary technical advisor to clients, offering tailored solutions.
• Conducting regular system audits and performance checks.

Requirements:

• College diploma or university degree in a related field and 2+ years equivalent work experience OR 3+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• Relevant certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, etc.) are desirable.
• Experience in MSP or consulting environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
• Experience with Microsoft 365/Azure, VMware, and remote monitoring tools.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel to local client sites.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
