Cloud Platform Engineer
We are looking for experienced Cloud Platform Engineers to join our Cloud Centre of Excellence in Kuala Lumpur.
Your main responsibilities will be operating and maintaining our cloud activities, AWS/Azure related tasks and assignments, during Malaysian working hours. You will have a close
co-operation with the Infrastructure and Operations team in Malaysia and our team located at our headquarters in Denmark.
The Cloud Centre of Excellence team are responsible for the company's cloud Infrastructure globally.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Cloud Platform Mastery: Expertise in a specific cloud platform (AWS and / or Azure) and its services. Expertise in GitHub Cloud is a plus.
Troubleshooting and Optimization: Resolving technical issues and improving efficiency within the cloud infrastructure.
Monitoring and Performance Analysis: Setting up monitoring tools and analyzing metrics for optimal performance.
Documentation and Best Practices: Documenting configurations, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automating provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Security and Compliance: Implementing and ensuring security measures and compliance standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with different departments to ensure that the cloud infrastructure not only meets technical standards but also aligns with the organization's broader goals and supports the needs of various teams.
Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends for innovation.
Education and Experience Required
Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent, from a two or four year college or university.
You have a minimum 5-8 years of professional working experience with Cloud Platforms
Personal Profile
You have a certification in AWS and / or Azure.
You have a data driven mindset
You are responsible and proactive person
You have good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
You are willing to learn and develop your technical skills
Working location and Hours
Malaysian working hours between 09-17, 5 days a week.
When needed, on-call standby or special working hours might apply.
Travel activity is limited but travel to Denmark and other sites may be expected.
