Network Systems Administrator

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator , with a focus on Cisco Networks to join our team in Laurel, MD . The team delivers enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce performing a wide range of missions in defense of our Nation. This effort is the contract vehicle for the Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing MPOs Enterprise Information Technology (EIT). EIT is MPOs backbone- platform for all Enterprise users. Data Center & Compute Services is the EIS enabling organization working with customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver select EIT.

Responsibilities Included but are not limited to:

• Responsible for maintaining and upgrading networks, including routers and switches while updating and configuring virus protection software and other programs to keep the networks secure.

• Responsible for applying Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) fixes to switches and Software Test and Evaluation (STE) policies.

• Responsible for designing and planning the network for Cisco NEXUS switches, setting up, and maintaining a Cisco network

• Must be able to configure Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for device administration on switches and will be proficient in network monitoring and management tools (Solarwinds)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

• Shall have fifteen (15) years experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

• Experience and ability to download software and upgrade Cisco switches and firewalls is required.

• A strong background in Cisco FirePower Firewalls is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Solarwinds

• Familiarity with LatteART and XACTA

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

• The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customers desk. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
