Senior Systems Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct stakeholder meetings to define scope system, requirements and specifications.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex control and communication systems and infrastructure.
- Develop Concept of Operations and Technical Specification documents.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency.
- Create and maintain detailed reports on system performance, incidents, and project status.
- Oversee implementation and integration of data across multiple systems.
- Revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and/or QA/QC for the troubleshooting of systems.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Prepare final project deliverables and presentation for executive management.
Senior Systems Engineer Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in system engineering and infrastructure management.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems in an enterprise environment.
- More than 5 Years of experience in Advanced Train Control Systems.
- More than 5 Years of experience in developing Concept of Operations and Technical Specifications document.
- 5 or more Years of experience in developing Interface Design Specifications (i.e. FTP, Database Objects, API Requests).
- 5 or more Years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
