Solution Architect (Conversational AI)

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Solution Architect in Chicago, IL.Conversational AI/NLP Implementation:

• Hands-on experience with NLP/NLU tools (e.g., Amazon Lex, Google Dialogflow, Rasa, Azure Bot Framework)
• Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models for dynamic, context-aware responses
• Designed and deployed chatbot solutions across web and mobile platforms

Cloud Architecture:

• Strong preference for AWS expertise-especially Lex, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB
• Familiar with cloud-native services, including compute, storage, and networking architecture

Integration & DevOps:

• Experience designing APIs and integrating chatbot applications with backend services
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

Hands-on experience with NLP/NLU platforms, such as:

• Amazon Lex
• Google Dialogflow
• Microsoft Azure Bot Framework
• Rasa (open-source)
• Practical understanding of Conversational Design principles (intents, entities, fallback handling)
• Familiarity or hands-on work with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
• Leveraging LLMs with structured/unstructured data for dynamic responses
• Proven track record of designing, building, and deploying chatbots on web and/or mobile platforms

Cloud Architecture (AWS-focused)Deep knowledge of AWS services, especially:

• Amazon Lex, Lambda, API Gateway
• DynamoDB (NoSQL), S3, CloudWatch
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud solutions

Understanding of cloud-native principles:

• Stateless architecture, event-driven design, serverless computing

Integration & DevOps:

• Strong experience with RESTful API design and integration

Knowledge of integrating chatbots with:

• Backend services (e.g., CRM, ERP, ticketing systems)
• Authentication layers (e.g., OAuth, Cognito)
