- Capture design requirements.
- Design and develop digital subsystems.
- Perform VHDL/Verilog firmware development.
- Collaborate with embedded software engineers to develop architectures.
- Perform hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Generate product documentation, including Interface Control Documents and theory of operation.
- 3+ years of professional working experience with Xilinx FPGA development.
- 3+ years of professional working experience with VHDL or Verilog programming.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience with Xilinx RFSoC development.
- Digital circuit design experience.
- Radar imaging and/or tracking experience (SAR, ISAR).
- Knowledge of RF and electromagnetic theory.
- Must be eligible for a US secret security clearance.
You will join a small company that offers development, growth, and the ability to work on various projects. The company has a fun, supportive culture that values teamwork and produces state-of-the-art radar technology for the US aerospace and defense industry. The work environment includes a 50,000 square foot facility with a private workspace. The role involves 50% desk work and 50% lab/floor work, with initial tasks focused mainly on FPGA programming. You must be physically agile and able to support hands-on work with large radar systems, including lifting equipment up to 50 lbs. Core hours are 9:00 am - 4:00 pm with flexibility outside of these hours to complete an 8-hour workday. The position is initially 100% on-site, with potential for a hybrid arrangement in the future.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $80.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
