Job Title: ServiceNow Developer/Architect (ITC21)

Contract Duration: 6+Months
Job Overview:
The ServiceNow Developer (ITC21) will support the Ohio Department of Transportation s (ODOT) Information Technology ServiceNow Delivery Team, focusing on the ServiceNow Platform. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and enhancing ServiceNow applications, integrating external systems, supporting IT security audits, and developing technical solutions that align with business requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow development, including Service Catalog, Workflows, Service Portal, and ACL configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Development & Configuration:
Configure ServiceNow PSDS to meet specific business requirements.
Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, Forms, and Custom Workflows.
Implement role/group-based ACL configurations and troubleshoot/debug access control issues.
Develop Service Portal components, including Widgets, Pages, and AngularJS-based features.
Design and implement solutions that align with IT security audit requirements.
Integration & Troubleshooting:
Maintain and manage integrations between ServiceNow and external applications.
Troubleshoot/debug issues in existing applications using System Logs, Browser Debugging Tools (Chrome, Firefox, IE), and debugging frameworks.
Support real-time and batch data integrations, bulk data imports/exports, mass updates, and exception handling.
Collaboration & Agile Development:
Work in an Agile project management environment, collaborating with stakeholders to develop technical solutions.
Conduct demos and presentations to client stakeholders to gather feedback and refine solutions.
Provide consultation and technical support to project managers, business analysts, and developers.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including server-side and client-side APIs.
5+ years of experience developing Forms, Workflows, and Service Portal.
3+ years of experience configuring and debugging role/group-based ACLs.
2+ years of experience developing custom workflows in ServiceNow.
2+ years of Service Portal development (Widgets, Pages, AngularJS).
2+ years of general IT experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
ITIL V3 Foundations Certification
